Hey guys.
I have a very active DNS cluster, now I want to make it better and faster.
Sadly I do not have the ability and availability to do AnyCast but I want the next best response time.
A friend told me that if you have your DNS cluster in multyiple location the client (by default) will query the one closest to them. is this true? how would this work?
do I need to do anything special in my cluster set up.
Current I have:
ns1.domain.com -> USA IP address
ns2.domain.com -> France IP address
ns3.domain.com -> Hong Kong IP address
ns4.domain.com -> Australia IP address
Will I need to change this to make it:
ns1.domain.com -> all 4 location IP address
ns2.domain.com -> all 4 location IP address
ns3.domain.com -> all 4 location IP address
ns4.domain.com -> all 4 location IP address
Thanks
